We’re celebrating an anniversary! On September 1, 2023, Dr. Janssen officially signed over the clinic that he worked over 30 years to build, Janssen Clinic for Animals, to the three of us. After spending the holiday weekend familiarizing ourselves with the inner workings of the clinic, we began meeting you and your beloved pets on September 5, 2023, one year ago today!
Most importantly, we can’t thank you enough! We recognize that putting your pet in the care of a new vet is scary, so THANK YOU to all of Dr. Janssen’s clients who were so welcoming during the time of transition! We sincerely hope we met or exceeded your expectations. We also want to extend a huge THANK YOU to our over 250 new clients who have joined the Foxridge family over the last year! You’re helping us grow to someday become a 3-doctor practice.
The last year has brought a lot of new changes, some cosmetic, but most to improve the level of veterinary care we can provide. As you know, we changed our name to Foxridge Veterinary Care to more accurately reflect our community involvement in the neighborhood of Foxridge Hills and the city of Middleton. With the name change came a new logo and colors to brightly welcome you. Less visible are the changes we made internally, such as updated computerized medical records, online patient portal and scheduling, upgraded in-house laboratory equipment, ultrasound, and new online pharmacy. We listened to your concerns and extended our hours into the evenings to better accommodate your busy schedules. Please never hesitate to let us know how we can serve you better!
We have greatly enjoyed participating in our community outreach events! In May, we opened our doors to you at our Open House so you could meet us all in person and see what we do “behind-the-scenes”. We have had several 4K classrooms visit us for tours and learning. We are helping the rural cat population by hosting low-cost barn cat spay/neuter days. Our partnership with the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin to foster adoptable kittens has been extremely successful, with already 13 kittens adopted since August 1st! Most recently, you may have seen us and our beloved canine companions walking in the Good Neighbor Festival parade.
Moving forward, we hope to continue to make updates to improve patient care, to be actively involved in the community, and to do more with local rescues and shelters. We are so excited to continue to offer the highest level of veterinary care possible for your pets! Thank you for choosing us!
Sincerely,
Megan Perkins, DVM
