About Foxridge Veterinary Care

We created Foxridge Veterinary Care as an escape from the corporate veterinary world and a vision of what we feel veterinary medicine should be: personalized, compassionate, and an integral part of the community it serves.

Prior to ownership, the three of us worked together at a corporate-owned practice where we witnessed first-hand how corporate control of a veterinary practice can reduce the quality of patient care by raising prices, reducing support staff, and limiting time spent with patients. Our practice style of getting to know you and your pet and working together to find the best treatment plan for everyone, was not a good fit within this corporate model.

The three of us took a leap of faith together to make our vision a reality. We found Janssen Clinic for Animals, a privately-owned, single doctor practice for sale in Middleton, WI. Dr. Janssen had been building this practice for over 30 years and was ready to retire. We instantly fell in love with the practice and its location.

We chose the name Foxridge Veterinary Care because Foxridge Hills is the name of this Middleton neighborhood. We want people to know that we are a part of the neighborhood and the community. We host adoption events, an annual open house, and school tours. Look for us participating in community events through the Chamber of Commerce or sponsoring and participating in the Middleton Good Neighbor Festival.

Our promise to you is to always listen to your concerns, treat you and your pet with kindness and respect, and provide the best possible veterinary care. We are not a large corporation that lacks empathy and compassion. We are three people who want to keep the veterinary profession from losing sight of what is most important: the human-animal bond. Our objective is to keep your animal companions happy and healthy so you can have a long-lasting, loving, and positive relationship with them.

Sincerely,
Megan Perkins, DVM
